The Pilates Class
A classically based Pilates class designed to challenge your entire body just as Joseph Pilates intended. We’ll focus on strengthening your core, improving your posture and lengthening your muscles using pilates props like the small ball, magic circle, weights and more. This class will leave you feeling long, lengthened and energized.
The Barre Class
Do you want a long, lean dancer’s body? Well this is the class for you! Each workout combines ballet and pilates based barre exercises to make you sweat like never before. Utilizing weights, resistance bands and other pilates props, be prepared to improve your stamina and overall full-body strength.
The Recovery Class
Sore Muscles? Or ready to relax your mind and body? Let’s feel better together using gentle pilates exercises, restorative stretching and foam rolling. This class is great for all levels of fitness and experience!
I created Pilates Body by Raven to share my journey to mental and physical wellness with a wider community. Through Pilates, I’ve transformed my body from the inside out and I design each class to set you on the same path.
In the words of Joseph Pilates, “In 10 sessions you’ll feel better, in 20 sessions you’ll look better and in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body.”
I’ve taken Raven’s mat pilates classes and her reformer classes and they’re both amazing. She offers modifications to everything so it makes anybody that’s a beginner feel comfortable in her class. She’s very skilled at what she does and I’ll forever be a student in her classes.
Raven loves what she does and it shows through her incredibly effective workouts. I’ve taken many classes with Raven - in person, virtual, live & recorded. All of them are just as great as the other. Raven explains everything so well and is always super motivating! Highly recommend!
Raven teaches me body and muscle awareness in every class. She is the person who took pilates to the next level for me by full body cues that make every ordinary movement more difficult! Her awareness of the people she is teaching and their strengths or hurdles allows everyone in class to become more connected with their body, and it’s something we all will use in everyday life outside of pilates.
